Video recipe: Cabbage fat-burning soup

Here's the fabled fat-buster soup made with cabbage and onions. Whether it really beats the fat is hard to ascertain, but it is certainly a fat free and low calorie soup packed with the goodness of various vegetables. A package of onion soup mix flavors the tomato broth to make it extra tasty.

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 carrots, chopped
  • 1 1/2 onions, chopped
  • 225 g canned whole peeled tomatoes, with liquid
  • 1/2 large head cabbage, chopped
  • 15 g dry onion soup mix
  • 225 g cut green beans
  • 1 l tomato juice
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 5 stalks celery, chopped
  • 200 ml beef broth
