Ingredients
- Ripe pears (not too soft)
- Fresh thyme
- Liquid honey
- Walnuts & other nuts
- Jocca Cottage Cheese
Pre-heat the oven at 180C. Cut the pears in halves and scoop out the seeds. Place the halves open-faced on a baking dish and drizzle with liquid honey. Place some springs of thyme on top and bake in the pre-heated oven for 10 minutes or until the flesh is soft enough when pierced with a fork.
In a separate dish, whisk the Cottage Cheese with crushed nuts and honey.
Fill the pears with the mix and place half a walnut on top of the Cottage cheese. Drizzle with a little more honey if you fancy.
These can be served cold or warm, on their own or accompanied with chocolate ice cream or sorbet.
