Recipe: Meatloaf

Meatloaf is a great way to prepare seasoned meat and veg to make a delicious, juicy dish. Enjoy this meal with potatoes and vegetables on the side, and enjoy making it too with the help of this video by imstillworkin.

 Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers (you can try TUC originals too)
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme
  • 1/4 tsp. marjoram
  • another 1/4 cup ketchup

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 175 C.
  2. Combine ground beef, cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of ketchup, eggs, onions, peppers, salt, thyme and marjoram in a large bowl and mix well.
  3. Shape mixture into a loaf.
  4. Bake at 175 C for 45 minutes, remove from the oven and spread the remaining 1/4 cup of ketchup on the meatloaf.
  5. Return meatloaf to oven and bake for 15 minutes more. Enjoy!
