Recipe: Breakfast mango smoothie

Breakfast mango smoothie/ Xarba tal-mango għall-kolazzjon

Yoghurt and fruit are two of the many things we should start off our day with. Blended together with a couple more ingredients they can provide us with a great breakfast for the whole family which can be prepared in a few minutes.

Time: 10 minutes

Serves: 2-3

Ingredients:

  • 2 mangoes
  • 150 ml vanilla yoghurt, frozen
  • 200 ml milk
  • 150 ml apple juice

 Instructions: 

  1. Peel the mangoes, chop them and place them in a food processor or blender. Add the frozen yoghurt, the milk and the apple juice and blend everything together until you have a smooth mixture.
  2. Pour into a large glass, decorate with a few pieces of mango and mint leaves and serve.
