If you like hot and spicy, you already know chilli con carne. This version includes beans and an interesting blend of spices. If you wish to reduce the heat, remove the seeds and the membranes from jalapenos. Serve with your favorite toppings; it is great shredded cheese, sour cream and spring onions. - 455 g ground beef
- 160 g chopped onion
- 75 g chopped green bell pepper
- 20 g chili powder
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 g ground cumin
- 8 g finely chopped jalapeno chilli peppers
- 800 g diced tomatoes
- 425 g tomato sauce
- 448 g chilli beans, undrained
- Salt and pepper to taste
