Video recipe: Chicken pot pie

Chicken always remains a favourite among meats; its tender, juicy, lean meat is very versatile as it can be prepared in a multitude of ways with a variety of different flavourings. In this recipe by Chef Kendra, you can discover the easiest way to make chicken pot pie. The chicken is prepared in a creamy vegetable sauce and then baked in a pie crust.   • 4 or 5 skinless chicken thighs, cut into 2.5 cm pieces
  • 300 ml chicken stock
  • 150 g diced carrots
  • 150 g frozen green peas
  • 240 ml milk
  • 75 g diced red onion
  • 80 ml butter
  • 40 g all-purpose flour
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp celery seed
  • Savory pie dough (ready made or make your own)

Preheat oven to 220 C
