Gululu – Kċina Maltija, situated on the waterfront in picturesque St. Julian’s bay, is the only casual diner in the area with a full menu of Maltese food.
At Gululu you will find homely traditional food in a casual and friendly setting. Prices are moderate and food is served throughout the day and evening, which you can also enjoy al fresco by the water’s edge while gazing at bobbing fishing boats and the bustling activity with a sea breeze on your skin.
Gululu is one of the best places on the island to taste the Maltese favourites, such as the typical ftira Maltija (Maltese pizza) made in a traditional wood oven, mqarrun (baked macaroni), aljotta (fish soup) and torta tal-fenek (rabbit pie), as well as many other delicious local dishes.
